GROUP THERAPY

While individual therapy is a great way to explore, process and heal, group therapy can provide insights that you may overlook individually.

Facilitated by one or more of our licensed clinicians, this form of psychotherapy allows a group of clients to meet, explore and work together towards a desired area of change.

If this sounds like an avenue of inner work you'd like to explore, review our latest group(s) and submit a form to join.

*Note: All submissions will be contacted and scheduled with a free group screening to determine if the group is appropriate for your needs.

The Mindful Mom Group

Closed Mother's Group

Welcome to The Mindful Mom Therapy Group—a dedicated space for mothers

seeking therapeutic support, connection, and personal growth. Motherhood is

a beautiful journey, but it also comes with its challenges. Led by our founder and

CEO, Maya Pittman, LCMHCS, this group is designed to provide a safe and

supportive environment for moms to process their experiences, gain valuable

coping skills, and find community.

Our sessions focus on mental well-being, mindfulness, and emotional resilience,

helping you navigate the joys and struggles of motherhood with confidence

and support.

Who is this course for?

This group is for mothers of all kinds—biological moms, adoptive moms, stepmoms, foster moms, and anyone in a mothering

role—who are seeking support, connection, and personal growth. It’s designed for moms who:

  • Feel overwhelmed and need a safe space to process emotions

  • Want to practice mindfulness and self-care without guilt

  • Are navigating the challenges of balancing motherhood and personal identity

  • Seek community with other mothers who truly understand their journey

  • Desire professional guidance to manage stress, anxiety, and emotional well-being

What does closed group mean?

A closed group means that once the group reaches its set number of participants, new members cannot join until a new cycle begins. This structure allows for:

✅ Consistency & Trust – The same members attend each session, fostering deeper connections and a safe space for sharing.
✅ Confidentiality & Security – Conversations stay within the group, ensuring privacy and emotional safety.
✅ Progress & Growth – Members go through the journey together, building on previous discussions and therapeutic work.

How much does it cost?

Each session is $25 per group meeting, with sessions held weekly. This means the total monthly investment could be around $100 per month, depending on attendance. Compared to individual therapy, which can range from $150–$250 per session in our office, this group offers a more affordable way to receive professional guidance and the following:

✅ Ongoing Support – Instead of just one session per month, you receive weekly guided support.
✅ Community & Connection – A space to connect with other moms who truly understand your journey.
✅ Professional Guidance – Led by a trained therapist, providing tools and strategies you can use daily.
✅ More Accessibility – At $25 per session, it remains a lower-cost option compared to individual therapy.

Where do sessions take place?

All sessions will take place virtually through secured ZOOM. Each week you will receive a link and reminders for the session.
